George Strait Sets Billboard Record

Billboard magazine has announced that George Strait is the first artist to hit the top 10 on a Billboard chart in each of 30 straight years. Strait’s “I Gotta Get to You” — his 82nd top 10 country hit — set the record by reaching number 9 on Billboard’s country chart. A Strait song has reached the top 10 every year since 1981.
