Sweetwater’s GearFest ’08 is going to be even bigger and badder (in a good way, of course)! That’s because Gearfest will coincide with the official Grand Opening of our brand-spanking new complex here in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 31st. GearFest is just like a NAMM Show, except that the public – that would be you – is invited. It’s your chance to see our new facility and millions of dollars worth of the latest gear, and it’s absolutely free!
Super-producer Bruce Swedien will be giving a keynote address that will include playing and discussing the master tracks for Michael Jackson’s Thriller album. There will be more than 100 manufacturer booths where you can get hands-on with new products, and a full day’s worth of clinics, seminars, workshops, and panel discussions. Tour our state-of-the-art studios and performance theatre. Gaze on the largest wall of guitars ever assembled! Naturally, it wouldn’t be a GearFest without a free pre-GearFest Concert by the legendary funk band, Tower of Power the night before. Seating is extremely limited, so call your Sales Engineer for ticket information.
Of course there will be refreshments available, and there will be plenty of activities for the kids, so bring the whole family and plan on staying the entire day.
