The ART HPFX offers a unique approach to headphone monitoring. It is designed specifically with the needs of DAW users in mind, and provides mic inputs and headphone monitoring for performance. You can mix your mic’s signal with a mix from the DAW and control how much of each you hear. That’s not new, but the built in effects and bussing are. You can actually ad reverb to your voice (or whatever) for performance and not have it print to tape or disc. It includes two microphone/instrument inputs with preamps and four independent headphone outputs (each with its own effects control). All for the terrific low price of $299.97.
Sweetwater is going to be at Macworld Expo 2000 this summer in New York City, July 19, 20, and 21. If you plan to be in the area please stop by and say hello. We’re going to have some burning show specials on Mark of the Unicorn products and other recording and MIDI products (including at least one surprise item that will be shown for the first time anywhere). You will find us making noise in booth #2033 in the Javits Convention Center. See you there.
FREE GEAR!
Here’s a heads up on a new promotion we are rolling out this week. We’ve really been thrilled with the response our customers have been giving us on Monster Cables. Not everyone buys this brand (and we know not everyone believes their claims of better performance), but we’ve sold a ton of them over the last year and the feedback has been phenomenal. We think everyone should at least try them so we’ve decided to offer an incentive. Starting now, every Monster Cable purchased from Sweetwater will automatically enter the buyer into a contest to win $1000 of equipment out of our Equipment Directory. You can buy them in our on-line store or you can call your friendly Sweetwater Sales Engineer. Either way you’ll automatically be entered. This is free gear, folks, so get your name in the hat.
