Forgot Your Password? (A Slight Return)

We gave you an OS X tip on this a while back, but here’s a quick clarification. You must be using Apple’s Safari web browser to be able to recover your lost or forgotten password. You also must have the Autofill function ON in your Safari preferences. That way, if you just can’t remember that catchy password you were certain you couldn’t possibly forget, you can use the Keychain Access utility (which is found in the Utilities folder inside your Applications folder) to get it back. Plus we’ll repeat our original advice, which is to have your User Names and passwords written down in the “analog world” in a simple address book. ‘Nuff said.
