Focusrite’s ISA 220 channel strip processor is an excellent value: a complete processing toolbox with a generous selection of top-quality essentials for professional audio processing, like transformer input stage (mic, line or instrument), four-band EQ (two parametric, two shelving), high- and low-pass filters, compressor, de-esser and limiter. Plus the price is very nice, especially considering the number of features you get.

Native Instruments has announced that the Absynth 1.3.2 update for PC is now available on their Website. The new version comes with DXi support and the ability to send Program Changes in VST and DXi. You can also drag and drop bank files onto Absynth, sync the internal effects to BPM, and export preset names to the clipboard for easy patch management in a text file or a sequencer program. In addition there are now keyboard shortcuts for windows handling and even a “one window at a time” edit mode to help reduce “window clutter” when working with Absynth on a small monitor.
