Float Windows in Logic Pro 7

Float windows are so named because they are designed to float in the foreground, even above the top normal window (which in many cases is the Arrange window). If too many float windows are open, they will eventually cover each other over. Float windows are recognizable by their narrower, gray title bar. The best example of a float window in Logic Pro (currently at version 7.2.3) is the Transport window. To aid in customizing your own work flow, you can open up any window as a float window by holding down the Option key while selecting the desired edit window (from within the Windows menu). Clicking on any float window automatically brings it to the front.
