Apple‘s iPhone Synth release is one of the first applications for the iPhone that utilizes the Accelerometer for modifying the virtual synth’s filters. As you start to use it, you realize this is almost like a slightly leaner version of Propellerhead’s ReBirth or a few other all-in-one applications. An interesting attribute you’ll find here is that you can assign one oscillator per each note, but they don’t all have to be the same, so you might assign a sine wave to note one, note two can be a square wave and note three plays noise or any other tone you choose.
