First, open My Computer, then click on the files or folders you want to copy to the CD while holding down the CTRL key. This allows you to choose more than one file or folder. Next, under File and Folder Tasks, click on “Copy the selected items”. In the Copy Items dialog box, click on the CD recording drive, and then click Copy.
Windows XP displays a temporary area where the files are held before they are actually copied onto the CD, so you should verify that the files and folders you intend to copy appear under Files Ready to be Written to the CD. Finally, under CD Writing Tasks, click on “Write these files to CD”. Windows XP displays the CD Writing Wizard and you can simply follow the instructions there. After copying, we suggest you view the CD to be certain the desired files or folders are there.
