After a recording session, you should get rid of any data that ended up not being used. This allows you to reclaim significant chunks of free space on your hard drive. To compact one or more files, highlight the data you won’t be using, then select Compact from the Soundbites menu. If you wish to compact all audio files, choose Select All from the Edit menu. To delete only Soundbites, use the Delete command in DP’s mini-menu.
