Let the anticipation begin building: GearFest 2010 is just around the corner! This year’s installment of our annual all-things-gear celebration is sure to be a record breaker in every way. Not only are we expecting even more of our friends from around the globe to come to Fort Wayne, but we’ve also got some amazing things happening here: workshops, seminars, panel discussions, demos, live performances, and the opportunity to rub shoulders with musicians and engineers from all walks of life, as well as the GearFest trade show, which is open to the public and features hundreds of manufacturers showing all the latest and greatest gear.
Speaking of gear, if you’re at GearFest, you’ll have the chance to win BIG in our Vanload of Gear Giveaway! Three lucky winners will walk away with literally piles of great equipment — we’re giving away a total of $75,000 worth of gear in the three packages!
We’re also running a Sweetwater/Sonicbids song contest. Five finalists will each win a $2,500 Pro Tools system, and one Grand-prize Winner will receive his or her choice of 40 hours of free recording time in Sweetwater’s state-of-the-art studios or one day of audio/video recording in the stunning Sweetwater Performance Theatre.
