This time around the Cakewalk kitchens have a wonderful recipe they’re dying to try. It’s a major update for Project5, but because the ingedients are secret (and thus really hard to get) it probably won’t ship until early in 2007. Still, the really good news is that this update will be provided as a free download for registered Project5 users. But wait, there’s more! The company has also lowered the street price of the current release to $199 — effective immediately. What that means is that you can buy now at the new, lower price and still expect the free upgrade as soon as it pops out of the oven. Okay, that’s all our baking jokes for today. We’ll wrap up by mentioning that Cakewalk is committed to enhancing Project5’s capabilities by adding the features most often requested by users. The official word is: Over the next year, expect to see lots more updates!
