There seems to be some confusion about plug-in authorization from people upgrading to the 5.0 version of Emagic’s Logic software.
When you purchase a full-fledged retail version of 5.0, you will receive a USB dongle key that is capable of authorizing every single Emagic product. You are automatically authorized for the Logic sequencing software that you have purchased (Silver, Gold, Platinum), but the rest of the plug-ins (EXS24, EVP88 and so on) are only temporarily authorized for 30 days. To get full authorization for these products send your actual Emagic product CDs to their address listed in the literature that comes in the box. If you do not send in these CDs your soft synth or plug-in software will timeout and not be usable until you get the authorization codes for the new dongle.
