“What’s the deal with this iLok I just got with my new software? I plugged it into my USB port, but the program still won’t launch.”
The iLok needs to be flashed to be authorized for a piece of software. To do this, take the credit card sized authorization card that comes with the software. Break off the small perforated square and place into the slot on the iLok. When the software is installed it will prompt you to authorize it. Once it authorizes the iLok, the small square can be removed. An iLok can hold up to 128 authorizations.
