Emu has released a new version of software for their XL-7 and MP-7 Command Stations and Proteus 2500 that can be downloaded from their website for free. The major new features of this upgrade are:
• “Beats Mode” – Fire off SuperBeats from the triggers. This is cool. Yes,you can get them into your sequences!
• 3ms latency in song mode switching patterns – this includes all MIDI Controllers data, preset changes, FX settings, not just note data – fastest of any sequencer anywhere!
It also adds Paste Repeat, Track Select follows Channel Select (used to be vice versa only), rechannelization improvements, and the sync is improved.
