Convolution reverb was once available only to the rich and famous. Audio Ease changed that when it introduced the original Altiverb plug-in, allowing realtime access to stunningly realistic sampled acoustics of actual halls, cathedrals, and other acoustic spaces. A free “”cosmetic” update, Altiverb 5.1.1, will be available to all registered Altiverb owners. The reverb plug-in is available in RTAS, MAS, Audio Units and VST formats. Audio Ease has also announced that Altiverb 6 will be available as a TDM version (replacing the HTDM version), for Pro Tools owners.
