The versatile F1 system sounds great everywhere, focusing your sound directly toward the audience’s ears, rather than over their heads. Featuring Bose’s new “Flex” technology, the F1 Model 812’s array is easily pushed or pulled into position, molding it into a “C” (for extreme raked seating), “J” (for stage placement), “Reverse J” (for bleacher seating coverage), or a straight-on pattern (for floor-level audience coverage). The F1 Model 812 also automatically adjusts its EQ to maintain optimum tonal balance for each coverage pattern.
Sporting a pair of high-output Class D amplifiers delivering 1,000 watts of bi-amplified power, the F1 Model 812 features eight separate 2.25″ drivers, 100-degree horizontal waveguides, and a high-powered 12″ low-frequency driver. The bi-amped design offers a lower crossover point for excellent high-SPL performance and midrange clarity. And for even more sonic punch and separation, the F1 subwoofer packs a massive amount of low end into a lightweight, compact design. Purpose-built for the F1 system, this 1,000-watt sub packs enough power to shake the rafters of whatever venue you’re in.
The entire L1 system is extremely portable, weighing in at less than 100 lbs. — subwoofer and all. Setup is a breeze: a proprietary mounting stand for the F1 Model 812 is integrated right into the body of the subwoofer (no more lugging around speaker stands).
