Q: I’ve been told that I need to update my Native Instruments Komplete instruments to make them compatible with KOMPLETE KONTROL. Is this true, and how do I do it?
A: Yes, for full compatibility with KOMPLETE KONTROL and the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series, all of your KOMPLETE 9/9 Ultimate or KOMPLETE 10/10 Ultimate should be updated to the latest versions — and double-check back, as some instruments are still in the process of being updated by Native Instruments. Updates for these should be released very soon.
To update your KOMPLETE instruments (and other KOMPLETE components), simply launch the NI Service Center app, which should have been installed in the Native Instruments folder where your KOMPLETE apps and docs reside. The NI Service Center will take care of figuring out what needs to be updated, then downloading and installing the updates. It’s easy!
