Sweetwater has recently lowered the price on the Fostex CR300 CD/CDRW recorder. This unit is very competitive with the top of the line recorders from other manufacturers, but is now significantly lower in price. Truth be told (and why not tell the truth) it’s transport is exactly the same as many of the “big boy” units.
