The ever excellent folks at DUY have delivered their EverPack to us. The EverPack is a suite of DUY plug-ins for VST, MAS RTAS, and Premier. The bundle includes 5 of their very popular plug-ins: Valve, Shape, Wide, Max and a new release: “DUY Z-Room”, a really nice reverb. All this for the amazing low price of $499 (retail).

A year or two ago we all knew it was coming, but how many really thought it would be here this fast? AMD has recently made an official announcement that they are now shipping 1 GHz Athlon processors. W.J. Sanders III, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AMD reports that they had a big initiative to be the first to reach this amazing plateau, and likens it to breaking the sound barrier. Chuck Yeager is probably not too concerned about being upstaged on this one, but it is a significant landmark. Intel is on the brink of a similar announcement as well.
