Passive speaker switchers have been available for some time, and if you were willing to spend many hundreds or thousands of dollars you could get an active monitor switcher, but now Pro Co has broken the cost barrier with the SwitchWitch, a relatively low cost device to allow you to easily switch between multiple sets of studio monitors. And you don’t have to use only powered monitors. You can put the device between your mixer and power amps as well, which gives you the added benefit of being able to easily switch between active and passive monitoring systems.
