For Nuendo users, Steinberg has unleashed a new, high-performance A/D/A converter. The 8 I/O offers up to 96 kHz resolution, with all 8 digital inputs and outputs using the full 24-bit range. It can also be used as a digital patchbay and format converter, plus it boasts a few great features (Intelligent Clock Control, SyncCheck & SyncAlign, and a flexible gain architecture) that make it more than your average AD/DA.
CellSynth 1.7 now supports Propellerhead Software ReWire technology, allowing users to link directly with MOTU Digital Performer 3.0, Steinberg Cubase VST, and Emagic Logic Audio. The Mac-based CellSynth is capable of audio synthesis and processing, sample manipulation, as well as both step and automation sequencing. All outputs can be recorded to disk for use in other software or streamed directly to sequencers such as Cubase VST, Logic Audio, or Digital Performer. CellSynth is shareware and available as a download.
