The mighty OASYS was designed to be Korg‘s flagship synth/workstation. Sure, the technology will be trickling down to other Korg products, but right now, everyone in the industry has been waiting for the first OASYS operating system upgrade, version 1.10. This OS upgrade does more than fix a few bugs. It includes the very first OASYS Expansion Instrument (or EXi), the STR-1 Plucked String, which builds on Korg’s decade plus of experience with physical modeling. OS 1.10 also adds support for up to 2GB of memory, along with several other significant enhancements to the OASYS voice architecture.
