Altiverb 5 from Audio Ease is a sophisticated convolution reverb plug-in (AU and VST) for Mac OS X that lets you place your music into virtually any acoustic environment, from tiled bathrooms to grand concert halls. Now the company has updated Altiverb to version 5.1.2. This latest update is free for registered users and includes the following changes:
- Altiverb can now load songs with presets in Logic
- Bypass mode is automatable once again in Pro Tools
- Using Pro Tools 7, you can convert from HTDM plug-in to RTAS plug-in when loading “old Pro Tools” sessions (pre-Pro Tools 7)
- This update fixes the “not clickable” window problem while starting up.
Audio Ease has also announced version 2.2.1 updates for the RTAS and MAS versions of its Nautilus plug-in bundle which includes Periscope (analyzer and phase correct equalizer), RiverRun (real-time granular synthesizer) and Deep Phase Nine (48 notch beat locked phaser). The AU, HTDM and VST plug-ins remain unchanged. The main change with the new version is that MIDI is now enabled for all plug-ins. The update is free for registered users.
