Hmm, maybe it should be “MoogPhest,” phollowing the phenomenal success of Moog’s Little Phatty among analog phanatics? In any case, no matter how you spell it, MoogFest will take place on June 22nd at B.B. King’s Blues Club in New York. Set to take the stage at the event, which will honor Bob Moog’s incredible legacy, include a veritable “who’s who” of famous Moog masters including Keith Emerson, Jan Hammer, Jordan Rudess (Dream Theatre), and Roger O’Donnel (The Cure). During the event, Moog Music will present a lifetime achievement award to the artist recognized as having best expressed their personal artistry through their Moog instrument (our bet is on Emerson). Details on Moogfest are available online.
