According to the good folks at Cakewalk, Project5 Version 2.5 is now available as a free download to all registered Project5 Version 2.x owners. You’ll need to have Project5 Version 2 installed and your serial number handy in order to install the update. New features include Microsoft Windows Vista Compatibility (of course) plus other cool stuff like multiple audio input/output support, Dimension Pro LE (with REX support), support for third-party audio editors, control surface support, integrated VST support, configurable MIDI outputs, Active Controller Technology (ACT), and integrated automation display. The update is now available as a free download to registered Project5 version 2.x owners. The download includes German, English, and French updates and is expandable – you have the freedom to use hundreds of DirectX and VST plug-ins and instruments, and industry-standard sample formats. As both a ReWire Host and Client, there are even more possibilities for expanding Project5 and extending your music world.
