Digidesign has announced the release of version 7.4cs3 commercial-free upgrades for Mac OS X Universal Binary versions of its Pro Tools HD, LE, and M-Powered systems. All three feature a number of exciting new features, along with bug fixes that every Pro Tools user will appreciate.
PreSonus Audio Electronics has just announced the release of a FaderPort beta native driver for Logic Pro and Logic Express versions 7 and above. This driver incorporates new functionality to the FaderPort not supported by HUI mode. These include mix/edit/transport window view, write and latch automation, as well as overall improved performance. PreSonus furthermore announced the release of Mac OS X Leopard and Windows Vista drivers for the FireStudio. Support for the Monitor Station Remote (MSR) is also included with the updated drivers.
