Auralex Acoustics, Inc. has just introduced the industry’s first “green” acoustical foam product, Eco-Friendly StudioFoam. More and more companies are revamping their manufacturing processes wherever possible to make them more environmentally friendly. Auralex Acoustics has embraced this approach and their environmentally friendly acoustic foam can be utilized in a wide range of recording, broadcast, and post and production facilities, both commercially and in residential settings. StudioFoam brand products now include soy components, reducing petroleum-based chemical usage by up to 60% and lessening dependence on fossil fuels, including foreign crude oil. This will help reduce global warming emissions, yet the foam retains the longevity and all the acoustical properties that Auralex is known for.
