Native Instruments has updated Kontakt to version 3.0.2 and Massive to version 1.1.3. The Kontakt improvements and bug fixes include:
- Added back the lower window in Database / Quick Load.
- Samples and slices can now be dragged into the floating version of the Mapping Editor.
- Auto-Mapping now supports single keys.
- Loading dialog now shows correct status.
- Non-ASCII characters are now supported in the browser.
- Dramatically improved browsing and loading from NKX files.
- Parse error at start-up is fixed.
- Crash on hitting “Loop Edit” button during loop play has been fixed.
- The problem with knobs moving in different instruments has been fixed.
- The wave editor zoom reset after edit has been fixed.
Changes and fixes in Massive version 1.1.3 include:
- Improved preset loading and host instantiating times.
- Smaller graphic issues on MAC OS X Leopard fixed.
iZotope has just announced the release of version 1.6.1 of iDrum, which includes the first VST release for Windows. Affordably priced, iDrum is a simple-to-use, but powerful, drum machine plug-in. If you already own iDrum for Mac OS X you can download the update to get the Windows version at no charge. iDrum 1.61 also adds numerous improvements including Mac OS X Leopard support. Other changes include:
- Improved MAS automation and sync support.
- Removed DXi support (Please note:All tested hosts which support DXi also support the VSTi format. If you are using a host which only supports DXi, please contact iZotope support.)
