Native Instruments has just released TRAKTOR SCRATCH 1.2, a free software update for its professional digital DJ system. The new version further enhances its acclaimed performance capabilities, including optimized vinyl tracking, improved real-time looping and effect capabilities, extended iTunes integration, and more. With version 1.2, the looping capabilities of TRAKTOR SCRATCH have been extended with a new “manual loop” function, which allows DJs to easily set loops in tracks without beat grids. The powerful effects section of the software has also been upgraded with a wide range of improvements inherited from the latest version of TRAKTOR 3. The 1.2 update is now available as a free download for all registered users of TRAKTOR SCRATCH.
Just in time for Musikmesse, EastWest has released instrument updates for Quantum Leap Gypsy (v1.0.2), Quantum Leap Ministry of Rock (v1.0.3), Quantum Leap Voices of Passion (v1.0.4), and Quantum Leap Goliath (v1.0.2). Gypsy v1.0.2, Ministry of Rock v1.0.3, and Voices of Passion v1.0.4 all have fixed volume levels for certain instruments, while Quantum Leap Goliath v1.0.2 includes sample location bug fixes, and also has tuning problems with trombone patches fixed. The updates are free to registered users.
TC Electronic has released version 3.0 software for its highly acclaimed G-System high quality, floor-based guitar system. Version 2.0 adds a brand new editor bringing further versatility to your G-System, so now you can tweak, store, and choose the perfect presets for your upcomig gig or recording session, all from just one ultra-intuitive editing screen. Other features that have been added include a modulaated delay, faster compressor attack time, and the ability to assign any preset to any switch. The expression pedal response, MIDI clock sync, and glide times on all output level parameters have been improved.
