Be careful of static electricity in your studio! Static can zap disks, erase presets, destroy RAM chips, in general wreak havoc on sensitive audio electronics! This is especially a problem in drier winter climates. Before coming in contact with your gear, discharge any static by touching a grounded item. Better yet, use a static mat under your chair and keep the humidity in your room at a reasonable level.
