Q: “When I load a Mach-Five performance in Logic, why dose it play an octave higher that it did when I had it open in Digital Performer where I created it?”
A: Logic “spells” or thinks about notes differently than many other applications by default. But, if you go to Logic preferences and choose [display preferences] and uncheck the box that’s labeled [display middle C as C3] (Yamaha) this should correct it.
