Q: “Why doesn’t MachFive doesn’t show up in DP4.1 as a insert on an audio or aux track?”
A: Interestingly, MachFive doesn’t show up in the Audio plug-ins listing either. Why? Digital Performer 4.1 uses MachFive and other virtual instruments differently than earlier versions of DP. Now, instead of inserting MachFive as a plug-in on an Audio or Aux track, all you have to do is create an “Instrument Track” from the Project menu’s “Add Track” list and you’re set!
