Audio Unit plug-ins and instruments are not showing up in Digital Performer 4.12, why is that?

A: When updating from earlier versions of MOTU’s DP4 to DP4.12, be sure to download the “Plug-in Update Installer DP 4.12” as well from www.motu.com (in their downloads section). In addition to adding updates for the standard MAS plug-ins, it also adds the “MAS AudioUnit Support.bundle” which is necessary for DP to use AU instruments and plug-ins.
