Q: I have a Lexicon PCM90, and recently, when I turn it on, the screen has started to say that it has a low battery. Can I change the battery myself, and do you know what kind of battery it needs?
A: The battery in the Lexicon PCM90 (and PCM80) is a 3-volt lithium type that is soldered onto the unit’s motherboard. It is not a user-replaceable component. Lexicon or an authorized repair center, such as Sweetwater’s service department, can help you sort it out.
