Road-ready Stompbox Packs Three Effects

Instant rockabilly — and beyond! The Analog Alien Rumble Seat guitar pedal actually packs three outstanding effects into a single package. Use the Overdrive section to dial in everything from a subtle tone boost to full-bore overdrive. Add the Delay section, with a range of 25ms to 650ms, then finish it off with the sweet-sounding Reverb section. While the Rumble Seat is perfect for surf rock and rockabilly, Sweetwater guitarists of all styles appreciate the rich-sounding overdrive, delay, and reverb Analog Alien packed into the Rumble Seat.

Smooth overdrive with extra harmonic richness

With the overdrive control all the way down, the Rumble Seat acts as a smooth tone enhancer and also as a switchable volume boost, if you like. Start turning up the Gain, and you're rewarded with sweet, tubelike overdrive. Past the 2 o'clock setting, the gain control reaches its maximum gain amount but continues to add harmonic richness. Even when cranked to the max, the Overdrive section in the Rumble Seat maintains its definition, bite, and clarity.

Vibrant delay from slapback to echoes

With a delay range of 25ms to 650ms, the delay in the Rumble Seat is ready to dial in a wide range of classic delay effects. Analog Alien designed the delay in the Rumble Seat to keep your guitar's signal intact without weakening bass response like some delay circuits can do.

Classic-sounding reverb to finish off your tone

When designing the reverb circuit for the Rumble Seat, the pedal wizards at Analog Alien constantly compared it to the sweet spring reverb in their favorite vintage tube amplifier. After much tweaking, they were barely able to distinguish the pedal from the amp's reverb. When old school guitarists talk up the iconic sound of vintage amplifier reverb, this is the sound they're talking about. Combined with the outstanding Overdrive and Delay sections, the Reverb circuit in the Rumble Seat is the perfect way to finalize your tone.

Analog Alien Rumble Seat Features:

  • Multi-FX pedal for electric guitar with Drive, Delay, and Reverb circuits
  • Overdrive section covers everything from subtle tone enhancement to full-on overdrive
  • Rich, warm Delay section with delay times from 25ms to 650ms
  • Sweet-sounding Reverb circuit designed to sound like vintage amp reverb

Rockabilly in 1 pedal.!
This pedal is insane! If rockabilly or psychobilly is in your blood, this is a must have! Love it, hopefully the neighbors do too!

Grab and Go
I will start with saying that all of the controls (knobs) do what they are supposed to do and are very interactive. All 3 effects in this pedal do exactly what thay need to do, and do it perfectly. The drive sounds just like an overdriven amp. The delay is very responsive, going from sweet slap back to feedbacking into itself. The reverb goes from slightly splashy to ambient. Also, all 3 effects will work independently form each other. This is a great pedal that sounds great live and at home.
Rumble Seat - there can be only one...
I have had this unit now for 17 months. I play in a church band, both traditional and contemporary so I needed a wide range of tones. I had 10 different pedals plus a couple of multi-effects pedals, none of which seemed right. The Rumble Seat is now my only pedal and it has given me the range I need and the sound I was looking for. No more humping a heavy bag back and forth. I sold all my old pedals and do not miss a single one.
The support from the manufacturer is excellent - I ran into an issue recently and Jack was exceptional. Turned out to be a bad power supply made by a different manufacturer- the Rumble Seat was just fine. We managed to resolve it all without having to ship the unit in. Outstanding, versatile product from a dedicated US manufacturer.
Music background: Mid level guitar player, started in 1970 playing classical, took a 30 year break snd then picked it back up.
Where has this been?!?!?
I'm a mid-level volunteer player in a church band for the last 20 years. My original guitar training (in the 70's) was classical, so praise music and electric guitar were a real transition. I have NEVER been able to get the tone I was looking for - something on the order of Santana or Stevie Ray Vaughn. I've tried dozens of pedals and a few multi-effects boxes (some with hundred of sounds, none of which sounded good). When the last one crashed, I found the Rumble Seat. Simple, straight forward, easy to use and best of all Clean, Clean, Clean - even when overdrive is engaged. It sounds great in the house system and the recordings. Now, I have just this unit, a tuner and that's it. Cuts my rig weight by over 6 lbs. I can go from uber-clean to nice and crunchy or just get a nice shimmery tone. Simplify your life and give this pedal a try. Amazing. Thanks to Sweetwater, sales engineer Ben Elder and the crew.
Music background: Mid-level church praise band. Now in my 70's but still playing.
Great sounding, versatile pedal
I am a low tech guy (no menu diving for me), and I was looking for a straight forward pedal with multiple effects. This pedal has exceeded my expectations.

I am not a rock-a-billy guitarist, but this pedal is so versatile, it covers any gig I play from jazz to hard rock. The reverb is so good, I bypass the reverb on my Fender Princeton Reverb. The gain allows me to dial in everything from a clean boost to high gain sounds. I am still learning how to use the delay, but it sounds good no matter how I set it.

I have probably owned 40-50 pedals in my life, and this is hands down the best sounds and build quality I've ever owned.
Music background: 30 years of gigging rock, blues, jazz

Kenny Bergle
Sooooo, I FINALLY found a be-all pedal to keep in my guitar case, just in case... With overdrive/distortion, sweet analog delay and my Fender Deluxe reverb all in one pedal in a cool orange sparkle finish, it's my go-to pedal for most jams. Sounds great on all levels and is easy to edit - just like the old days!
