Where has this been?!?!?

By Gordon Moore from New Mexico on January 12, 2024 Music Background: Mid-level church praise band. Now in my 70's but still playing.

I'm a mid-level volunteer player in a church band for the last 20 years. My original guitar training (in the 70's) was classical, so praise music and electric guitar were a real transition. I have NEVER been able to get the tone I was looking for - something on the order of Santana or Stevie Ray Vaughn. I've tried dozens of pedals and a few multi-effects boxes (some with hundred of sounds, none of which sounded good). When the last one crashed, I found the Rumble Seat. Simple, straight forward, easy to use and best of all Clean, Clean, Clean - even when overdrive is engaged. It sounds great in the house system and the recordings. Now, I have just this unit, a tuner and that's it. Cuts my rig weight by over 6 lbs. I can go from uber-clean to nice and crunchy or just get a nice shimmery tone. Simplify your life and give this pedal a try. Amazing. Thanks to Sweetwater, sales engineer Ben Elder and the crew.

Great sounding, versatile pedal

By Michael from Rhode Island on January 12, 2024 Music Background: 30 years of gigging rock, blues, jazz

I am a low tech guy (no menu diving for me), and I was looking for a straight forward pedal with multiple effects. This pedal has exceeded my expectations.

I am not a rock-a-billy guitarist, but this pedal is so versatile, it covers any gig I play from jazz to hard rock. The reverb is so good, I bypass the reverb on my Fender Princeton Reverb. The gain allows me to dial in everything from a clean boost to high gain sounds. I am still learning how to use the delay, but it sounds good no matter how I set it.

I have probably owned 40-50 pedals in my life, and this is hands down the best sounds and build quality I've ever owned.

Rumbling rumble seat

By Peter Farber from Maine on January 4, 2024

I have been the victim of pedal frenzy to the point of not even trying anymore, but then came the rumble seat. This 3 in 1 pedal is very effective in a pleasant way. The gain channel is very adjustable to get the right amount of crunch or distortion desired. The delay is the best I have experienced; it brings out the best of the guitar and is very versatile. As I use a Fender amp I don't use the reverb channel but it would be very useful if I was plugged into an amp without reverb. Great sounding pedal.

You Need It !

By Wendell Burnett from KY on December 26, 2023 Music Background: Guitar player for 35 years, Drummer for 56 years. Still playing, trying to improve and learn more everyday.

I truely think this is the best pedal purchase I have ever made in my 35 years searching for the perfect pedal.
I have a lot of pedals that are great for adding there unique thing to the mix. But this pedal does the three main effects we all use.
It is simple to use, its quiet and does everything it says it does very well.
They are correct when they say you can use this one pedal for a gig and be perfectly happy with a one pedal set up.

Great essential pedal combination

By Matthew Virzi from Bloomfield Township, MI on December 13, 2023

I bought this pedal to go with a Marshall Origin amp. I'm impressed by the broad range of each of the features on this pedal. Reverb and delay controls are very expressive. The distortion covers a lot of ground too; barky at one end and fuzzy at the other. It really is three stand-alone pedals in one enclosure. Performs equally well through the input line, or in the effects loop. The demo video says that it comes with a power supply but it does not.

Fabulous!

Analog alien rumble seat.

By Martin Deaner from Long Island NY on September 14, 2022 Music Background: Playing for over 50 years.

Using the reverb and delay together on this pedal sounds better to me than combining any of my other separate pedals. The reverb sounds just right on its own.The overdrive can be dialed in to sound good even at low volumes.I had a question about the power supply because this demo model didn't come with it.One of the owners called me at 8pm to answer my question.

New dimensions

By Robert Willis from Cairo, GA on June 14, 2022 Music Background: 43 years playing guitar ,weekend warrior.

The footswitches are a little close. This is the best sounding pedal that I have ever plugged into. I started with reverb only, It's a great reverb sound, just right, reminded me of Link Wray. The delay is awesome. I love the slap-back Rockabilly sound. Onto the drive, I found the right tone and gain in just under a minute. When everything was dialed in, I knew that this sound was superior to any sound that I have previously attained. I can't wait to use it at my next gig.

Perfection

By Canyon from Phoenix on May 2, 2022

This is my favorite pedal. Period. The overdrive circuit is great. It can provide a really smooth and light edge of breakup sound or a full blown wide open crunch. The delay is everything you want in a delay. NAILS the slapback stuff and can get you into beautiful ambient tones that seem to go on forever, if that's your thing. The reverb sounds just like my fender amps spring reverb. Subtle if you want it to be or super spacey and lush if you push it all the way. It's THE classic reverb sound that you hear everywhere and want. I only use this pedal and a boss tuner now. That's it. It's truly everything you need if you're looking to cut down on pedals and focus on your playing. 100% worth the money. You can absolutely hear and feel the quality.

Analog Alien Rumble Seat

By Doug from New Jersey on March 13, 2022 Music Background: Amateur

I've only used this a few times but I can say that having the combination of overdrive, delay, and reverb in one pedal allows you to dial up an endless combination of sounds. The other obvious thing is that it reduces the number of pedals on your pedal board. I'm not a professional musician. I just like gear that allows me to make different interesting sounds and this pedal allows me to do that. I'm sure I'll be using this a lot in the future.

Simplicity At It Its Best

By Andy from Rocky Mountains on January 8, 2022 Music Background: Gear Collector

My full rig is either an Axe Fx with a MIDI controller or a large analog / digital pedal board with 8 or 9 different effects. Sometimes I just wanna grab my barebones - but amazing sounding - '57 Deluxe or my brownface Princeton and head to a friend's jam without carrying a rack or a suitcase box. The Rumble Seat and a power supply are all I need. Other times, I'll invite some buddies over to jam at my rehearsal space and put this simple little box in front of their amp so they don't have to bring their pedals or spend 20 minutes changing the settings on one of my pedalboards. If you have a good amp, the Rumbke Seat is more than enough. I didn't expect it to sound as good as it does but the reviews are accurate. It's a great sounding. I wish these existed when I was first starting out back in the '70's.

The pedal that does it all for me.

By John See from Yakima, WA on November 18, 2021 Music Background: Since the sixties.

One of the best reviews of this pedal is Sweetwater's video attached to this product's page. We get to meet the two brothers who run the Analog Alien company and hear them describe what they wanted to accomplish with this pedal. Like most guitarists who have been playing for awhile I have a lot of pedals and they all do something cool. But sometimes getting them to work with other pedals takes some tweaking. I have had several modeling pedals and amps and they are fun. But sometimes your ear is looking for something and you're not in the mood to shuffle through the menus or hook up your laptop. With this pedal I can find that sweet tone in seconds. The OD section goes from a subtle warming to an over-the-top stack tone. The reverb is the same. From just a touch to the bottom of the well. I am still learning to use the delay part but I love the fine adjustments and the logical layout. I have tried this pedal with a Vox Pathfinder (solid state), a boutique 6v6 combo, and a Blackstar HT-1 and it doesn't mess up the individual amp's character. I was really surprised at what it did for the little Vox. People I've played for swear it's a tube amp.

Rumble Seat Overdrive

By Enzo from NY on August 31, 2021

The Rumble Seat Overdrive does exactly what it says on the box. The OD is nice and fuzzy and you can dial in some real nice crust and nastiness. The delay is just fine, enabling you to get some trippy otherworldly repeats along with some slapback perfection. It's not a wild delay with bells and whistles, just solid and to the point. The reverb won't replace a tank if you've got it, and its not typical surf style reverb, but, again, it's simple and to the point.

Add the three up and you get a nice box that has a ton of rockabilly and garage tones that'll make you sweat. If you're into 60's biker guitar and classic rockabilly this is exactly what you need.

Its solid, has a nice retro look to it, and sounds amazing. Get one and slather it on your git.

RUMBLE ON!!!!

By Carlos from California on June 16, 2021

This pedal is everything it is advertised to be. Thank you Analog Alien for creating this pedal, and thank you Sweetwater for stocking them!!! If you like Rockabilly/Rock/Pop/Blues, then what are you waiting for? Pull the trigger and buy this pedal already. If you don't like it, there will always be someone who will be more than happy to take it off your hands. But if you like the genres I listed, you'll want to keep it. It's all good.

Absolutely Awesome Pedal

By Don from Texas on April 7, 2021 Music Background: Worship Band

Great pedal for so many reasons. The first thing is it's quality, both in build and sound. The second thing is that it is super simple in it's layout which makes it very easy to use. This is the purest form of KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) in a guitar pedal format. Don't forget that when you buy this you are supporting a family run business which stands behind their product. You can email or call them and speak to one of the two brothers who designed and made this. Super happy with my purchase and if lost or stolen, I would definitely buy another one.

If I had to walk on any stage with just one pedal, this would be it. I use it on tour with a real Hammond and Leslie, but I'm a guitarist mainly - this fills the bill. The three main sound used for pop, funk, rock, jam bands, reggae. It's all there.

Re Rating

By dean krob from cortez, CO on April 16, 2020

So after owning this pedal since 2016 i am going to rate this pedal a 5 star instead of 4 and i will explain why.
You can look at my old post for sound quality and specs.
After four years this unit is still like brand new and sounds amazing.
The only problem i spoke of in my original post was The sound degradation when you run this in front of a distorted channel.
One day i decide after four years to give it a try run through my effects loop? Holy smokes! the delay sounds amazing run
through the effects loop with a heavily distorted amp. I play a fair deal of metal and did not want to go with a digital
delay as i prefer the sound of analog. If you run this through the front of the amp using any of the effects there is very
little change in the tonal characteristics of the amplifier. Run through the effects loop i can now use the drive as a boost
and the extra boost gives you a great metal tone. There is a slight change in the sound dynamic run through the effects loop
which can be remedied using the tone knobs on the amp. Now is all i need are a few EVH effects and i'll be good to go!
This pedal is much more versatile then advertised and can be used in a wide variety ways and used in a wide variety of Music genera's. Go Get One!

Buckle up in the Rumble Seat!

By Trent Ward from North Hollywood, CA on May 17, 2018 Music Background: Professional Musician

I was really settling for mediocrity in tone and didn't realize it until I plugged in this pedal. The distortion is pure gravy. The reverb is sweet and the delay opens a world of options. It has an incredible amount of tone control, and you can really go vintage sound if you like, or crank it up to face-melting status. It puts a big smile on my face and raises the hairs on the back of my neck!

The Tone In My Head!

By Eric N from Portland OR on March 10, 2018 Music Background: Hobbyist/Amateur

This pedal nailed the tone I've been looking for, you know that tone you have in your head and you keep trying different things to get it. Well this pedal did it for me. The OD covers a lot of territory from subtle to full on creamy rock. The reverb is Fender sweetness at it's best. I haven't used delay much, but that will change now, the slapback caught my attention immediatley and i spent a solid hour tooling around with it. This pedal is worth every penny! Buy It!

Super Pedal !!!! One of my favorite pedals on my board....sounds great and built like a tank..you will not go wrong buying this pedal or any of the other pedals they sell!!
Also the biggest thumbs up is the company Analog Alien stands behind what they make.
I had a problem with this pedal after I had it for about 2 years (intermittent switch issue) I sent an email to the
company and within an hour Jack responded and I shipped pedal and within a week or so I had pedal back on my board sounding and working like new!!
This company is one of my favorite ...Super customer service!!! You wont be left in the dark with Analog Alien!!
A lot of companies have forgotten how they have gotten so big and leave consumers frustrated with their product.
Buy these pedals , Plug them in and enjoy and do not worry, Analog Alien got your back !!!

Finally, A Pedal To Be Reckoned With

By Dave Bass on May 15, 2017 Music Background: Many years loving blues.

Analog Alien Rumble Seat - Three outstanding and essential effects in one pedal. No digital scrolling, straightforward knobs, each offering a full range of sensitivity.

So happy was I with the girth it provided, even to single notes on thin strings, I sold my other pedals and bought a second Rumble Seat, it's all I need.

I've looked at the inside and the secret is at least partially the quality components but the concept is certainly an essential part and Analog Alien has really hit on something here, dare I say a 'classic'?

Interestingly, I also ran it through an inexpensive little solid state power amp and speaker cabinet that on its own sounds quite sterile, imagine my surprise to suddenly have this cheap little thing come alive and sound three times it's size.

I must add, the second Rumble Seat was bought from Sweetwater (Brad) and I can't imagine any retailer providing better service, from beginning to end Brad made me feel he wanted to made the purchase experience as positive as possible, he was not just professional but genuinely friendly and downright likeable.

The One & Only

By Zed Galaxy from Grand Rapids MI on December 24, 2016 Music Background: Strat Guy

Three basic effects you need in one pedal is genus and this is my small amp pedalboard that I use with my Fender Champ. The Plexi drive is sort of dark and harmonic with lots of gain and the delay is very analog, like a vintage delay pedal. Reverb is Fender all the way which makes this the perfect pedal for my Champ.
Rumble Seat is voiced good for rockabilly, blues, and country and works well with any Tweed type amp.
Bottom line, I love and highly recommend this pedal and any other pedal from Analog Alien.

Amazing 3-in-1 Pedal

By Rick from Dallas, Texas on December 16, 2016

I have a full board as my main pedal rig that I normally use. But I wanted something smaller with the primary effects I typically use for grab n go purposes. The three primary are those found on this pedal: OD, delay and reverb.

So when Sweetwater had these offered at 15% off during their holiday sale I pulled the trigger to give it a try. In summary, I am thoroughly impressed. In my experience with multi-effect pedals there are usually some individual effects that are good, and others...not so much. But each of these effects on its own would make a superb individual effect, at least for my needs. Also, each effect is simple to dial in with the configuration on the Rumble Seat. And Analog Alien sweetens the deal by including a 1-spot adaptor.

Finally, I have to give two thumbs up to my Sales Engineer, Ryan Clapper. As always, he gave first rate assistance in this purchase.

Plexi Drive, Analog Delay, And A Beautiful Reverb.

By Robert Herrera from Navasota Tx on October 12, 2016

These guys knocked it out of the park with this one! The rumble drive is like s vintage Plexi from Heaven! From 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock it's a really nice overdrive with great note definition. Past 12 it's the best sounding Plexi pedal I've heard. Super saturated but completely defined! I use this along side my always on Joe Walsh Double Classic for solos. The delay is sweet! Can go from subtle slapback delay to long ambient decays. Add the reverb and it becomes a great wash of tone!

Great Multi-Effect!

By Dave M. from Huntsville, AL on March 11, 2016 Music Background: Rock/Experimental Rock/Psychedelia

This is the perfect Multi-Effect for me. It has the 3 effects I use the most and sounds great. The overdrive is smooth and has great harmonics with the gain cranked. The delay does everything from slapback to tape delay sounds. The reverb is rich and is very classic Fender. It's nice to have something small with great analog sound for when I don't feel like dealing with my giant pedal board.

Sweet!

By Sweetwater Customer on May 14, 2015

So mine came overnight air and was here in time for me to open it and pack it back up and off to the gig. I ran through it all night and was so pleased with the tone, operation and control that if its as durable as it looks this is going to be my only pedal for a long time.

Very nice pedal

By Daniel from Texas on March 27, 2015

I have various drive pedals and the Rumble Seat as quickly climbed to the top of my favorites list. The drive sounds great and very usable across the dial spectrum. That in and of itself would be enough reason for me to get this pedal but adding the delay and reverb make the pedal a Win Win Win purchase!

Awesome Multi-Pedal - REAL QUALITY

By Cody Meek from United States on February 27, 2015 Music Background: I'm a part time rocker. Have been playing music for 15 years.

The fact that you can get drive, delay and reverb all in one analog pedal is badass enough. The delay has a lot of range although I mainly use fast echo or slap-back echo sounds. The delay is also warm but bright. The reverb is as simple as it gets, which is good and is also sensitive depending on how hard you strike your instrument. The Overdrive, I haven't quite mastered yet, but I do love the way it sounds. I do feel the that it is pretty beefy, even turned to 1. With the Laney Tube amp I play, I've yet to be able to turn it past 3 without it being too much. Perhaps I would have a different opinion if I was playing through an AC30 or a Fender amp. Also the output on the drive does boost your overall volume, so one needs to be careful when dialing in the right sound so you won't boost your leads too much. So this is a great pedal and a great invention from the Analog Alien company.

Rumble Seat got it right!

By Robinson from Blowing Rock, NC on January 7, 2015 Music Background: Broadcast Concert Engineer and Musician

Analog Alien Rumble Seat

Yes! It can be done! An effect builder can build a multi-effect unit where all the effects are usable. More than usable, each unit the overdrive, delay and reverb are great on their own and each is worth the price of admission. The Analog Alien designers have great ears and have a classic on their hands. They just got it right!

I don't do reviews. This deserves some recognition. In my 38 years of playing, I've owned every classic pedal imaginable and most of them had something that was not quite right. I dislike pedals in general and put up with them as necessary evil that often drains and compresses my tone so I can get more sounds. I'm a plug my favorite guitar into a tape delay and straight into a great amp type guy. This one has great tones from input to output. I can use this pedal without compromising.

Without boring you with adjectives that sound like a cork-sniffing wine taster. It does have a wonderful, blooming bouquet with a woody finish. But seriously, a few of the many things they got right that I have not seen mentioned much if at all.

1. No volume drop when the effects are engaged.

2. The tone knob effects the right frequencies for guitar. It does not do that thing where it misses the target frequencies and sweet spot. Very difficult to achieve.

3. My low end does not disappear when I engage the effects!

4. From the Plexi style drive to the delay to the spring style reverb, they do not sound like cartoonish versions of those if you know what I mean. They sound vibrant, powerful and present with a big, warm depth. Adds that proper "stang". There is a certain audiophile quality to the tone here. Very hard to do. Ok getting like a wine ad.

4. Comes with a One Spot Power Supply and very nice padded bag. Very classy.

5. Don't want to sound like a tired cliche, but yes it actually responds to your playing and feels responsive.

6. No more patch cables for me. This IS MY PEDALBOARD now!

Top marks.

Analog Alien Rumble Seat

By Bradley Yates from Crown Point, IN on October 24, 2014

This is my first review of any product on any website. I can't help but write good things about this pedal. I play in a rockabilly/surf band, and I also play at my church. The reverb is great for the surf stuff, I can get a great slap-back delay for the rockabilly stuff, and combine the reverb and delay to go really ambient at church. Plus, the overdrive sounds better than the overdrive on my amp. I can get a pushed tube sound for just a bit of overdrive or turn the gain all the way up for a Marshall type roar. This is now the only pedal on my pedalboard. Buy it.

Rumble Seat Pedal

By Sweetwater Customer from MT on March 25, 2022

Best pedal on the planet. My only critique is that these lazy bastards didn't invent this pedal about 30 years ago and would have saved me hundreds of dollars in crappy pedals along the way.

It's not cheesy.

By Craig Keefer from Pawleys Island, SC on November 27, 2021

Honestly, I just dismissed this thing when I first saw it. But eventually I got tired of dealing with a big pedalboard, and all the stereo whatever and complexity that I just didn't need. Now I run this, a full size tuner, and the foot switch for my amp (with a nice little 1Spot power box) on a 20X8 Pedaltrain Metro, and PRESTO! All I actually need. It sounds great - the tonal range is impressive - and it's easy to tweak while in the heat of battle. I also dig the dune buggy paint.

A proper job, all the way.

By flummox from LA on October 20, 2020 Music Background: better-than-average punk rock guitarist

It just sounds good. The overdrive transitions beautifully from clean to overdrive, it's got the note definition those old Marshalls were famous for, and you can get a pretty respectable range of blues/classic rock/grunge tones out of it(although you're NOT going to be happy if you're going for modern metal sounds. Does it djent? No, it doesn't.). The analog delay is the best I've ever heard, period. It's organic, it's musical, and it decays in fascinating ways without ever sounding muffled or dull. The reverb isn't as interesting as the other two effects - it's just a very good springy Fender-esque verb and I wish there were a few more options. But it's much better than the verb on any of my amps. Build quality is excellent, which it should be for the money spent. My only complaint is that the color and graphics look dated and dorky. All in all a great, useful, soulful little box.

Rumblin' kick in the pants!

By Cali L from St Petersburg, FL on December 27, 2018 Music Background: 30+ years non professional playing

I've had my eye on the Analog Alien Rumble Seat for quite some time and used the 2018 Holiday Season 48 months/0% interest promotion period to finally buy one. After having it for a couple weeks now, I realize I shouldn't have waited that long. This pedal is premium!

I'm playing it through the front end of my Marshall Astoria Custom with the gain turned low. The Astoria is a fine amp in it's own right and has some very sweat gain on but I have to say, I think I love the drive the Rumble seat provides more. It has that sweat classic rock sound of the 60s and 70s I adore. The drive tops out at around the 2pm side of the the dial and just get's dirtier from there.

The Delay is just sweet and offers all the control I'll ever need. Paired with the excellent reverb, I can get everything from slap back to ethereal cavernous echos. It's just dreamy! The reverb is simple yet powerful. I was a bit concerned due to the single dial but I was pleasantly surprised it offered a great bit of Fender like verb.

I JUST LOVE THIS PEDAL!!!!

So, why 4.5 stars and not 5? It would be really sweet to be able to support my amps effects loop by sending the drive directly through the front end and then running the Delay and Reverb through the amps loop. I'd definitely pay more money to have this option but as of right now, it limits the my overall ability to pair this pedal with other pedals such as a chorus. I can put this in the effects loop but then I can't use the overdrive part of the pedal if I want to have another pedal in front of it in the chain. I just think having inputs to allow for the Delay and Reverb to be chained independent of the overdrive would be a great feature well worth adding.

Fortunately, it really does sound awesome all on it's own and if could only have one pedal, this is the one! If you are on the fence and fear the price is a bit high, save up and buy it! It's well worth the price, even with the limited routing capability.

Warm Analog Tone

By dean krob from cortez, CO on March 5, 2016

I spent a few months listening to different analog delays before choosing the rumble seat. The pedal is well built, with a great finish. The tones are warm, with vintage characteristics. The overdrive has a vintage crunch, with not a lot of low end. With the gain all the way up it produces only a moderate amount of distortion. This would be great blues pedal, or old school rock. The delay is warm, with a gentle decay. I Really liked the delay played through a clean channel. I was hoping i could use the delay to add delay to my over driven amp. The delay did not work so well when played through a high gain setting on a tube amp. I couldn't get it dialed in to sound right. The reverb is very sensitive, and it doesn't take much to get a warm vintage reverb sound. The only real issue i have the with alien is that it takes a little tweaking to get the perfect delay desired. I also wish it had a lot more gain on the drive. I am definitely going to keep this pedal because i love the rich tone of this pedal. I will keep on searching for an analog pedal with great tone, that can be used for both clean tones, and high gain applications.

Analog Alien Rumble Seat

By Skip from NYC on April 4, 2015 Music Background: I play guitar and pedal steel guitar. Mostly country, western swing and trad jazz.

A truly fantastic pedal with one of the best sounding reverb this side of a Fender Twin. From subtle to super Dick Dale approved surf mayhem.

Both the delay and overdrive are also elegant. An extremely versatile pedal that would satisfy the most discerning guitarist.

Two niggles: The LED's are much too bright especially on a dark stage. Blindingly so, in fact. I had to put some masking tape over them to dull the brightness.

The other niggle is you are supposed to turn off the effects before unplugging the unit from the power supply. The manual says that it could damage The IC chips and void the warranty! It's a very easy thing to forget. Also an overzealous soundman might unplug you before you have a chance to turn the unit off. It's already happened to me and fortunately the unit still works fine. This is the only unit that I know of with this condition. This is something the folks at Analog Alien should try to rectify. That's the main reason I didn't give it a 5.0.

Nothing Alien About a Great Overdrive Pedal w/Rev/Delay

By ROBERT BROWN from MIDDLE RIVER, MD on August 25, 2014 Music Background: BEDROOM ROCKSTAR

When I saw this on Sweetwater's website I was super happy and wasted no time to purchase one.
It makes a big difference when you don't have to lay so much cash out
at one time when you have the Sweetwater credit account.
I already own the Alien Twister and the Alien Fuzz Bubble 45 pedals.
They look good and the build is super and tone for days. This pedal is no different...from the great looking orange metallic paint and the color knobs.
This is a 3 in 1 pedal with a great Overdrive ,Lush Delay and Reverb.
This pedal was designed for the rockabilly crowd but don't let that deter you from purchasing this pedal...it will do anything you throw at it.
The Delay can go from subtle to full on lushness as well as the Reverb.
The Overdrive is made to voice a 69 Marshall Plexi and it can go from a little hair on a note to full blown Overdrive.
There are some wonderful videos on You-Tube check them out and hear for yourself.
Also the company is great to deal with I sent an email to Analog Alien about the other pedals I have and they responded that day! I want to thank Jack for your incredible response.
Also I want to say thanks to Kenny at Sweetwater , He is so cool to deal with.
If you never had one of these pedals try this one...jump into the Rumble seat and get ready for a great ride!

This pedal is very well designed and may serve as a complete pedalboard for players wanting a basic set of effects. It is super easy to use, with no menus. It is dead quiet even with all effects switched on. (Some fly rig competitors are noisy even on minimal settings.) Each of the three effects works well on its own, but the real beauty of this pedal is how well the three effects play together. There are plenty of good settings on each effect; you don't have to search around for a sweet spot.
I have only two nits to pick, and they are subjective. First, the reverb is actually a reverb/chorus. While it sounds good, you cannot take the chorus out. I like reverb and use it all the time, but I never cared for a chorus - I see it as a specialty effect. I'm going to try to live with it since the unit is otherwise so good, but I wish there was a button to disengage the chorus. The second issue is that the foot switches are a very hard-clicking type, unlike the soft switches used on Fender amps, Boss, and TC Electronics. Overall, this is a great pedal. I do not know of another multi-effect pedal that is simpler to use or does a better job.

Good if on a budget.

I got this by other reviews. Wanted a basics unit. This is that and added a volume pedal and a pre gain stack pedal . The only thing this needs is a tap tempo for the delay. But I can always buy one to add to give me sort of peset option . Still playing with it to see what i can do.

Rumble seat

By Sweetwater Customer on July 26, 2018

I was looking for something to replace my big bulky 2 space rack and my outdated processor. The rumble seat was a great choice. I play 6 string but my main ax is pedal steel guitar. I like clean and quiet. Pedal steel has such a wide variation of tone with strings that range from .10 to .68. I"m impressed how the rumble seat stays out of the way of my tone. Good choice....
