Stage-ready Performance with a Suite of Artist-series Upgrades
The Cordoba Stage Artist is an ideal nylon-string performance solution for seasoned pros and crossover steel-string guitarists alike, offering you a more premium spin on the brand’s road-proven Stage series. This acoustic-electric nylon-string guitar starts with a striking flame maple veneer and a solid spruce top, supported by custom Stage Artist fan bracing to deliver a clear, bright, and balanced tonal foundation. Next, the body sports a chambered slab of mahogany that is significantly deeper than the original Stage — a much-welcomed enhancement that rounds out the Cordoba Stage Artist with a louder and more impressive unplugged timbre. A mahogany neck in a classic C profile accommodates crossover guitarists with a comfortable feel. And when it comes time to hit the stage, Fishman’s Stage pickup system provides superb acoustic-electric performance with plenty of tone-shaping tools on tap. Finally, the Cordoba Stage Artist is tied together with maple purfling, Cordoba flower petal tuning machines, and refined walnut knobs.

A deeper body for a deeper tone
Building upon the foundation of the original Cordoba Stage, the Cordoba Stage Artist features a thicker mahogany body with a significantly larger sound chamber. The result is a fuller, more authentic sound that makes the most of this guitar’s premium solid spruce top, especially when you’re practicing unplugged. Plus, this upgrade adds minimal weight to retain the Stage-series comfortable feel during long sets and sessions.
Aesthetics worthy of an artist
In addition to its deepened body, the Cordoba Stage Artist also comes equipped with a suite of eye-catching upgrades. From the body’s maple purfling to the flower petal tuning machines, walnut knobs, and premium ebony fingerboard, this crossover 6-string matches the visual elegance of a traditional classical guitar. Moreover, a mahogany neck in a comfortable C-shaped profile offers familiar playability to guitarists crossing over from the steel-string world.
Road-proven Fishman electronics
Take the Cordoba Stage Artist wherever your classical performances take you. This acoustic-electric guitar sports electronics, codeveloped with Fishman, that deliver its tone with precision. Thanks to an under-saddle transducer coupled with a body mic, both the vibrations from the strings and the guitar's voice receive direct capture from the electronics system. Pair that with a Stage Pickup System preamp, and this classical Cordoba treats listeners to a warm, rich tone with fantastic midrange — a big reason it has become a favorite among classical guitarists around Sweetwater.
