Two special pickups
This guitar gets the “HT” in its name from Ernie Ball’s ingenious heat-treated engineering. Heat treatment increases the output of the pickup while simultaneously improving the pickup’s dynamic range. What that means for your sound is a stronger low end with greater frequency response, resulting in a fuller, rounded out, and more present tone. This technological chase for an increase in responsiveness is inspired by the same process used in Ernie Ball’s Slinky string development, so you can rest easy knowing that your StingRay setup is meant for true compatibility with your strings. Also, combined with the custom-wound humbucker in the neck position, these pickups make the Sabre HT extremely versatile and powerful for all styles and genres.

With the Sabre HT, playability is key. To help you reach your full playing potential, this guitar has an exceptional neck made from select maple topped with a rosewood fingerboard. It has a high gloss polyester finish that feels sleek and plays fast. Combine that with the slightly wider nut width of 1-11/16 inches, and you've got a recipe for playing success. Music Man vibrato and Schaller locking tuners make staying in tune easier than ever
With the Sabre HT's Music Man vibrato tailpiece, you'll get in tune and stay there. It's constructed of chrome-plated hardened steel with bent-steel saddles. The headstock is equipped with Schaller locking tuners that make string changing fast and easy. Just insert the string, tighten the clamp screw, and tune it up to pitch. Strings won't be wound around the shaft, so your tuning will be reliable, no matter how hard you play.
