This unique pickup design features a special sustain circuit that's designed to let notes ring on as long as you wish. Just kick in the sustain circuit, play a note or chord, and let the electromagnetic feedback carry your sound as long as desired. And a 3-way switch lets you choose between fundamental, mix, and harmonic-type sustain.
Aggressive, detailed tone from an Apocalypse VI humbucker
Sweetwater guitarists found nothing but sonic intensity from the Apocalypse humbucker onboard the E-1 FR S Special Edition. Alnico magnets deliver a fast, aggressive sound with plenty of richness. The alnicos are flanked by ceramic magnets for top-end presence and articulation.
