The Spector Euro 4 RST packs a pair of Aguilar Super Double pickups that use 42-gauge Formvar wire and Alnico V magnets in a dual-coil soapbar form factor. These humbuckers integrate with the natural qualities of the tonewoods to deliver massive, growly tone that integrates perfectly with the onboard preamp. The Aguilar OBP-2 is a high-headroom, low-distortion preamp designed to reproduce the full dynamic range of your bass. Aguilar engineered it to deliver a fat, punchy tone while enabling bassists to drive long cable runs and complex processing chains without any hint of noise. The OBP-2 offers 2-band EQ with 18dB of boost/cut at 40Hz and 16dB of boost/cut at 6.5kHz, frequencies specifically chosen for maximum effectiveness and versatility in shaping your bass tone for any musical context.
