Meet the 4-string half of Duesenberg’s 2-instrument collaboration with Canadian country outfit the Bros. Landreth: The Alliance Series Bros. Landreth Dave's Bass. Designed for the band's bass player Dave Landreth, this bass retains a mellow, resonant, and decidedly vintage-style voice thanks to its spruce/maple semi-hollowbody construction, short 30.2-inch scale, and trapeze-style bridge. To balance against this wellspring of warmth and richness, Dave opted to forgo the standard Starplayer Bass’ dual Bassbuckers for a custom Duesenberg Alnico-Blade single-coil Mobucker in the neck paired with a single-coil Duesenberg Gold-Foil in the bridge. Per-pickup volume controls allow you to blend between the full, defined tone of the Mobucker and the crisp clarity of the bridge’s Gold-Foil, and you can also nullify the Mobucker’s noise-canceling with the flip of a switch for true single-coil sounds. As for playability, Dave’s Bass delivers supreme comfort via the maple neck’s Classic “D” profile and the rosewood fingerboard’s compound radius. Topped off with a set of Duesenberg’s secure and stable bass Z-Tuners, Dave’s Bass will elevate your 4-string arsenal with singing semi-hollowbody thump!

Singing semi-hollow construction
Mixing the best vintage-style semi-hollow construction and modern performance-minded enhancements, this bass’ slim and lightweight semi-hollowbody construction comprises a spruce top, maple body, and a solid center block. The comfort carries on with a short 30.2-inch scale length; this common spec among vintage and old-school inspired semi-hollow basses is famed for its thumping attack and acoustic-like decay. On the opposite end, the Starplayer Bass features a rock-solid maple neck carved into Duesenberg’s crowd-pleasing Classic “D” profile, topped off with a compound-radius Indian rosewood fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets.
