Your Virtual DJ for Record-scratch Effects
For adding record-scratch sounds to your tracks without bringing in a real DJ, it's hard to beat UVI's Scratch Machine software instrument. It's loaded with over 4,200 "phrases" recorded by the masterful DJ Quartz, covering everything from vocal phrases and break beats to Speak 'n' Spell samples. Use your keyboard or pad controller to play phrases, add some spice by tweaking pitch and speed controls, and create builds and breakdowns with six built-in effects. If you're not a DJ, but the track you're working on begs for some record scratching, Sweetwater can highly recommend UVI's Scratch Machine. This product requires that you have an iLok account for authorization, although it does not require a physical iLok key. It also requires UVI Workstation or Falcon. Please call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer if you have questions. UVI Scratch Machine Software Instrument Features at a Glance:
