Looking for a natural, rich, condenser-like vocal sound - from a dynamic mic? Sweetwater has a suggestion: the Audio-Technica BP40. Optimized for broadcast applications, the BP40 features a large diaphragm with Audio-Technica's patented floating-edge construction, which maximizes the diaphragm surface area for maximum performance, while the microphone's humbucking voice coil eliminates electromagnetic interference. The mic's capsule placement (along with a pronounced peak around 4k) gives you authoritative vocal presence, even at a distance.
