I'd recommend this to anyone just starting out and even professionals that just need a down right good no fuss mic. The clarity is awesome and the noise floor is ridiculously low. The review I did was with the rebranded Tannoy version, but it is the same mic. It's a complete mic package for just over $100 what's not to like! Check out how it matches up to a U87ai.

The resolution, and tonality, are so very well crafted, and the noise floor is ridiculously low. Solid build quality—This one isn't about the price anymore. It's a piece of art like the higher end mics. A new standard to achieve modern sound. You can flatten the curve, and eq the final recording to reproduce any esthetic you're looking for. Then again, you can leave it as is for a superb live sound that should satisfy an honest audiophile.

The clarity is surprisingly amazing. It's just what I was hoping for. It picks up the details you want, and keeps the bad noise away. Again I'm shocked, plus I get a free cable, filter, and mount. Wow

I am an experienced musician learning the ins and outs of recording music. I bought this mic to record my vocals. I am blown away by the quality I can achieve with a mic in this price range. While this is my first mic, I'm sure that I will have this one for a long time before I even consider paying more for a different one. The noise floor is almost non-existent. If you are comparing different mics in this price range, I strongly recommend this one. It's also coupled with great customer service from Sweetwater!
