Every handbuilt snare drum in the Pearl Masterworks series boasts vault-grade tonewoods, indulgent finish plies, and top-of-the-line hoops and hardware. This 5.5" x 16" Masterworks Studio snare combines four plies of balanced North American maple with two plies of rich, resonant gumwood for impressive depth and response in any setting — onstage or in the studio. Plies are set using Pearl's proprietary SST shell molding process, with tonally transparent AcoustiGlue and 1,000 PSI of direct pressure, yielding maximum roundness and resonance. 2.3mm triple-flanged Superhoops and nickel STL100 swivel lugs complete the package.
