An Evolutionary Design
It’s often said that the best audio cables are the ones you never notice, which is why we’re delighted to say the only time you’ll notice the ProCo Evolution series cables is when you’re hooking them up. A lot of that has to do with their amazing, noiseless dual-shielded design enhanced with Soft Touch jackets. Made of two layers of varying density polymers, these shields do two very important things for the ProCo Evolution cables.
The first thing ProCo Evolution series cable shielding does is block out external interference, such as radio frequency (RF) noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI). Beyond that, these shields allow ProCo Evolution series cables to remain highly flexible yet exhibit no discernible handling noise. That’s a huge deal, especially during live performances, when singers like to sling mic cables around like whips and guitarists bounce around like caffeinated jackrabbits.
Dual-shielded cables are only one of the things that make Pro Co’s Evolution cables so exceptional. In addition to the 100% oxygen-free copper wiring inside — a key component of their long life and outstanding sound quality — Evolution series cables include some of Neutrik’s finest connectors. These elements come together to ensure that the signal leaving the cable is as close as possible to the signal entering it. When you’re dealing with high-profile live performance or critical studio recording, there’s just no substitute for cables like Pro Co’s Evolution series cables.
