The freedom you’ve always wanted from a mixer
Despite their size differences, each X-Series mixer offers 40 processing channels and 16 mix buses, giving you the freedom you've always wanted. What’s more, every X-series mixer doubles as a 32-channel recording interface, compatible with all major DAWs right out of the box. X-Series mixers’ powerful signal processing can be set up fast for sessions of any size. If you're over the frustration of navigating an unending sea of encoders and menus, it's time to try Behringer X-Series mixers, a new approach to digital mixing.
Incredible Midas-designed mic preamps
Behringer used Midas and Klark Teknik's expertise to build studio-quality mic preamps with expanded dynamic range, greater common mode rejection, and ultra-low harmonic distortion (THD) for the Behringer X-Series digital mixer’s gain-programmable preamps. These preamps have a fantastic sound!
Compatible with all major DAWs
The X-USB recording interface card that comes with Behringer X-Series digital mixer allows you to record your tracks directly into your DAW. Because of this convenience, you can use Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, DP, and practically any other ASIO or Core Audio–compatible DAW right out of the box.
Ample I/O for shows of any size
For their small size, Behringer X-Series digital mixers have a surprising number of inputs and outputs. Behringer X-Series mixers boast 32 great-sounding gain-programmable mic preamps, six 1/4-inch TRS aux inputs, numerous balanced XLR outs, and balanced control room outputs, so you can play big concerts without worrying about running out of I/O. A single Cat 5 cable can carry up to 48 channels of audio and all bus outputs, as well as 16 individual monitor feeds for Behringer's optional P16-M Personal Monitoring System, from front of house to stage.
Maximize your workflow with comprehensive controls
You can assign signals to eight DCA (digitally controlled amplifier) groups with simultaneous group level control via dedicated motorized faders on Behringer's X-Series digital mixers. X-Series mixers include a talkback function that allows you to engage with the musicians. The Behringer X-Series’ powerful scene management allows you to save snapshots of mixes for later recall. You may even store them on a USB thumb drive and utilize them on another X-Series mixer later! Furthermore, there is a special custom control section with user-definable knobs and buttons, allowing you to construct unique sets of controls that make it simple and straightforward to access frequently used tasks while working.
Put the finishing touch on your mixes with onboard FX
Behringer X-Series digital mixers include an integrated virtual FX rack with eight true-stereo (16 mono) multi-effects processors such as delay, chorus, and dynamics. Behringer X-Series mixers also include four studio-quality stereo reverbs and eight channels of 31-band graphic EQ, which eliminates the need for pricey outboard gear.
A system that scales to meet your needs
Behringer X-Series mixers support several expansion units for when you’re ready to scale up your system. These include the SD8 and SD16 digital stage boxes, the S16 and S32 digital snakes, the X-Dante 32-channel Dante expansion card, and the X-LIVE expansion card for SD/SDHC recording and remote operation of your DAW.
