What is the difference between “Inserts and AUX busses
Inserts differ from AUX Sends in that an insert interrupts the signal completely and AUX Sends split the signal for feeding FX processors or tape inputs or…?
Both can be used for incorporating FX processors in your mix and routing signal to different locations. Inserts interrupt the signal path and rout the signal to the FX processor and return it to the same insert location on the mixer with a special TRS cable. When you rout a signal out an AUX bus it can be returned in an AUX return or an open channel input and routed like a regular input signal
