Should I update my Mac-based ProTools system to OS 10.5.6?
As of this posting, ProTools 7.4.2 does not support Mac OS 10.5.5 or 10.5.6. There are reports that OS 10.5.5 works with ProTools free of problems, there is not enough data yet to recommend OS 10.5.6.
