SYNC Setup application doesn’t have a choice for Digiserial port. How can I update the SYNC I/O’s firmware or change other settings without this application?
The SYNC Setup application will only communicate with the SYNC I/O when connected to a modem or printer port (or compatible emulator such as Griffin GPort or Gee Three Stealth port). Most SYNC I/O features including window burn and updating firmware can be accessed through the Pro Tools software in Peripherals > Synchronization if the unit is connected to the Digiserial port. All other features can be accessed from the unit’s front panel.
